About Me
“Hope – Do not look down, my friend. Even in the darkest of times, there is always hope. Hope for a better day, hope for a new dawn. Or just hope for a good breakfast. You start small, then see what you can get.”Ahoi! I’m Nastassja, a psychologist and after being encouraged by numerous people to offer counselling with a focus on a Covid-safe lifestyle as well as Long Covid, the time has finally come. I am aware that there are countless dubious offers out there claiming to “cure” Long Covid. This is why I want to clearly distance myself from these and you will find neither esoteric practices nor brain reprogramming with me.
My counselling approach is primarily psychodynamic, complemented by elements from systemic and humanistic approaches. Whereas my focus lies particularly on the mental processing and support of chronic illnesses, the associated experiences of loss, potential restructuring of daily life, development of acceptance, and dealing with emotional burdens.
Looking back on my life so far, I trust that my empathetic disposition, combined with my past and current training, my accumulated experiences, and my capacity for reflection, will allow me to make a positive contribution to a fairer and more healing way of sharing our lives together on this planet. I look forward to putting this into practice as an independent psychological counsellor and, eventually, as a psychotherapist.

Am I a “real” psychologist?
The quick answer: A resounding yes! I completed my Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Bremen and my Master’s at Humboldt University of Berlin, supplementing the latter with a year abroad at SWPS University in Warsaw. I was passionate about my subject, graduating with honors, published and worked with a wide variety of client groups even during my studies. For the past four years, I have been training to become a psychodynamic psychotherapist and working with patients.

Why do I focus on people who continue to protect themselves against Covid and those suffering from Long Covid?
I continue to protect myself and others from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and of course wear an FFP2/3 mask indoors. Furthermore, an increasing number of people in my immediate and extended social circles have developed Long Covid following an infection or are caring for a loved one with the condition, facing increasing levels of distress.
Through my national and international network I have direct insight into the lived realities of both communities. I am in regular contact with affected individuals, which has given me a deep understanding of the specific challenges they face. At the same time, it is evident that current support services for these individuals are inadequate and insufficient. Many report not being taken seriously regarding their symptoms or being unable to find appropriate help. Consequently, I have decided to fill this gap and offer support.
